Driving Customers to your Website |
|
There are so many ways to integrate an internet marketing plan into your business, and unlike traditional marketing and advertising, most ways are free or low cost. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Put your domain name on everything, from your business cards and print brochures to the awning outside your business. Domain names are much easier for customers to remember than telephone numbers, so they are more likely to look you up on the web than to call you.
- Have papers for customers to fill out to join the email mailing list at your place of business, with a promise of special web coupons to arrive via email.
- On your website, put coupons, specials or raffle drawings on a page only accessible to those who fill in a form to join the mailing list. This will encourage people to sign up for your mailing list, and also refer their friends to your website.
- Consider ways of making your website more interactive, so that your customers have a vested interest in your website. Whether you encourage people to submit their own photos for a picture gallery, write reviews or opinions about various products, or vote in polls or contests, people today like to get involved – as well as to see the handiwork of other ‘regular’ people just like them.
